Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to operate Sapling AI Detector: basic usage data (such as pages visited and general device/browser information) and, if you contact us, the information you voluntarily provide (name, email address, message content). We do not require account creation to use the core detection tool.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the service, respond to inquiries, monitor for abuse of the tool, and understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Text Submissions

Key point

Text you submit for analysis is processed in memory to generate your detection report. We do not permanently store the content of your submissions on our servers.

Because submitted text is not retained after processing, we cannot recover or provide copies of previously submitted documents. If you need a record of a report, save or export it at the time it is generated.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited and how often). These analytics are aggregated and are not used to build individual profiles for advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We may rely on third-party infrastructure providers (such as hosting and analytics services) to operate the site. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually limited in how they may use it. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records, after which they are deleted. As noted above, submitted text for detection is not retained after your report is generated.

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact Us
